Buddy's Candy Cane Spaghetti

Inspired by a certain elf's approach to the four main food groups, this is spaghetti tossed in butter, drenched in maple syrup, and topped with chocolate and a dusting of sugar. Ridiculous. Delicious. Do not question it.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked spaghetti
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp white sugar, for dusting

Steps

  1. Toss the hot cooked spaghetti with the butter until melted and coated.
  2. Pour the maple syrup over top and toss again.
  3. Sprinkle generously with chocolate chips and a dusting of sugar.
  4. Serve immediately, with complete sincerity.

Notes

An original recipe inspired by the general concept of a very syrup-and-candy-forward spaghetti breakfast from the film โ€” not a reproduction of anything from the movie itself, just the same energy.
